The new Sony VAIO laptop, its stunning features and charismatic qualities have contributed to the user model in the minds of the invasion. VAIO acronym for Video Audio Integrated Operation, which is a sub-brand Sony, the electronic giant. The branding was done by Sony to differentiate products that articles and included the use of audio-video, as well as traditional computing. Sony was a big name in the Japanese PC market1980s, left the field but in the end of the decade. The re-entry to the computer market, this time was the world in 1996 with a brand new VAIO PCV-series with that of desktops. The VAIO logo of the brand, which was a big hit is the integration of analog and digital technology. The "VA" stands for an analog wave and the 'IO' represents digital binary code.
Sony plans to expand the use of the label VAIO. The new products include notebooks, sub-notebooks, desktopsand a hard disk-based audio player, which comes in both 20GB and 40GB variations. The network media solutions by Sony also carry the VAIO brand. High-end Sony VAIO notebooks usually get the business comes with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium or while low-end laptops such as N series come with Microsoft Vista Home Basic. VAIO computers come with components from Intel processors, Seagate Technology and Fujitsu hard drives and Sony speakers.
The recentModels of Sony VAIO, such as the TX or SZ, have implemented the unit LCD with LED-backlit XBRITE that further improvement of energy saving and accurate color reproduction capability of the LCD. The VAIO SZ series features both an Intel GMA950 graphics chip and an NVIDIA graphics chip. The high-end AR Series VAIO models were the first to Blu-ray disc burner installed. These laptops are designed to the epitome of high-definition products are including a 1080p-capable WUXGA (1920 ×1200 pixels) display, HDMI output and the aforementioned Blu-ray burner. The AR series also include an illuminated logo below the screen.
